Hallo
Im Rahmen eines Editionsprojektes an der Fakultät für Geschichtswissenschaft der Ruhr-Universität Bochum, sind wir auf die Frage gestoßen, ob es sich bei dem folgenden Zitat Ludwig Bambergers an Moritz Hartmann (Paris, 21.5.1860), um einen Spruch bzw. eine jüdische Weisheit handeln könnte: "Wenn jener Mann seinen Sohn nicht schreiben lernen ließ, damit er nie im Stande sein möchte, einen Wechsel zu unterzeichnen [...]".
Für Hinweise wären wir sehr dankbar.
